REACH
On June 1, 2007 the European Union's new chemicals regulation REACH has come into force. By the year 2018 approx. 30.000 substances must be registered, evaluated and authorized in order to further improve the protection of human beings, animals, and the environment. This goal is in full agreement with Evonik Degussa's fundamental principles on Product Stewardship and Responsible Care.
Evonik Degussa GmbH has actively supported the legislative process to keep REACH practical, and feels an obligation toward its customers and suppliers to ensure the consistent and cooperative implementation of REACH.
Within Polyurethane Additives we have been preparing ourselves intensively for REACH, and would appreciate the opportunity to work together with you as partners in gathering all relevant information necessary for the registration and preparation of the chemical safety report.
